OJ’s entertainment aspirations began at the age of 15, when he started as an intern at the legendary hip-hop bible, The Source Magazine. By 2010, he had worked his way up to Production Director for both The Source, and its sister company Jones Magazine. While keeping up with ungodly publishing hours, he also acquired a Bachelor of Arts from St. Francis College. In 2013, he was a founding member of Steve Stoute’s theSTASHED (a lifestyle and entertainment platform), where he spearheaded their film and lifestyle content platforms. Recently, he was Managing Editor of both EBONY Magazine & JET Magazine and oversaw a complete redirection & revamp of both titles. In 2015, OJ founded The Knockturnal an entertainment space where creators are able to create freely and boldly.
